We are aiming to have the first
online guerilla feature film festival take place on September
9th, 2009 (9/9/9). There are several twists to the festival
idea;
The festival is in actual fact a competition, where the winners' pictures will be showcased online and offline on September 9th, 2009
The films will all feature a reference to the number combination 9-9-9 or 09/09/09 somewhere within them, no matter how small and/or significant.
The features will be created by a volunteer crew and cast, the budget can only cover expenses such as food. Remember this is a guerilla festival, so locations and other resources need to be worked around.
Entrants have 12 months to get their picture shot, edited and submitted. |

The prize? Well, you'll have a feature film under your belt and it showcased on a worldwide medium (the internet). There are no language restrictions, although subtitle tracks will need to be provided alongside the film for foreign audiences. The purpose of the festival is to showcase how guerilla filmmaking can be beneficial to the world of film, as well as kick some of the lazier filmmakers around the world to get off their arses and actually try to live their dream. The 12 months commence as of July 1st 2008 and end on July 1st 2009. |
